- You retain full ownership of Content you upload.
- By uploading Content you grant linklck a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and deliver that Content solely to facilitate the Service.
- You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all Content you upload, and that your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, or appropriateness of Content created by Creators.
- We reserve the right to remove any Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, without notice.
6. Payments, Fees & Merchant of Record
Payment processing
- All payments on linklck are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every transaction. This means Lemon Squeezy is the legal seller of record, handles payment processing, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax and VAT in all jurisdictions.
- By using linklck you acknowledge that your transaction is subject to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service and Buyer Terms & Conditions.
Platform Fee
- linklck deducts a Platform Fee of 15% from each transaction before calculating the Creator's payout. Lemon Squeezy's own payment processing fees apply on top of this and are deducted by Lemon Squeezy.
- Buyers are charged the price set by the Creator at the time of purchase, denominated in USD.
Payouts
- Creator earnings are paid out via Lemon Squeezy on the payout schedule set by Lemon Squeezy, subject to any applicable minimum payout thresholds and their standard holding period.
- linklck reserves the right to delay payouts while fraud checks or account reviews are in progress.
- Chargebacks and fraudulent transactions may be deducted from Creator balances. Creators who experience excessive chargeback rates may have their payouts suspended or their accounts terminated.
Refunds
- Lemon Squeezy reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of purchase at its sole discretion to prevent chargebacks or where required by applicable law. This right supersedes any refund policy set by the Creator.
- Creators may choose to offer their own refund guarantee beyond this minimum. Any such promise is the Creator's sole responsibility.
- Where a refund is issued, the corresponding Platform Fee will also be reversed. The Creator will not receive any payout for refunded transactions.
- linklck does not guarantee that digital content will be inaccessible to a Buyer following a refund. This is technically determined by the nature of the Content delivered.
7. Tax & VAT
Because Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy handles all sales tax, VAT, GST, and equivalent tax collection and remittance on behalf of Creators in all jurisdictions where such taxes apply. Creators are not responsible for collecting or remitting these taxes on transactions processed through linklck.
- Buyers will see Lemon Squeezy as the seller on their payment receipt and any tax documentation.
- Creators are responsible for reporting and paying income tax on their linklck earnings in their own jurisdiction. linklck does not provide tax advice.
